Sponsorship Program

1

HOW MUCH DOES CHILD SPONSORSHIP COST?

Child sponsorship starts at $20 a month, or about less than a dollar a day.

AS A CHILD SPONSOR WHAT DO I RECEIVE?

As a sponsor, you can expect:

  • A welcome package in the mail that includes:

Photos of, and information about your sponsored       child and his or her family. Information on your           sponsored child’s community.

  • The opportunity to exchange letters:                    If you write a letter to your sponsored child, he or she will write back! Letter writing is a great way for you to get to know your sponsored child and see the world through his or her eyes.

  • An annual update on your sponsored child, as well as the progress sponsorship communities are making because of your support! An annual tax receipt.

CAN I VISIT MY SPONSORED CHILD?

Yes! In addition to writing to your sponsored child, we encourage sponsors to consider a trip to visit their sponsored child's community. It's a life-changing experience to meet your sponsored child and his or her family, and you will be able to see first-hand the impact of our partnership. Contact us to plan a visit.

Food Program

Many Haitian children are severely malnourished because they go day-to-day without food–or in an effort to fill their stomachs, they eat ashes or whatever they can find. We focused on improving the lives of those children who suffer under these extreme hardships.

We are supporting the school with supplies and monetary donations. $1,400 covers a 1 month supply of food for 220 schoolchildren. For example:

  • 1 week supply of spices = $25

  • 2 week supply of water = $50

  • 1 month supply of beans = $100

  • 1 week supply of rice = $200

CLEAN WATER PROGRAM

Our water program started by Pastor Seremy Surpris after noticing several challenges in the communities. Many students in the area from the schools have to walk for hours to access clean water. Lacking access to water means many things, like poor sanitation, higher risk of illnesses, and other issues. Pastor Seremy Surpris installed and maintains wells in community-accessible locations.
